Well, I guess we’re coming out of the exceedingly wet period for a bit, and hopefully the rest of the winter isn’t quite so floody. I put the glass equipment back together, and it all works - oxygen system and propane. The torch fired up just fine, and tomorrow morning I’ll sit down and make some glass.
More glass ... I am still taking a little bit of a break from the glass studio (it's chilly and rainy, and I've got plenty to keep me busy indoors). But here's another sea shell from early fall that is still on my Etsy shop.
My first sea shells I tried to use natural colors, but like so many things, I found that when I stopped trying to be purely natural I found so many beautiful patterns and combinations.
