Context Is Code: A Tour of APM and AgentRC If you've shipped an AI agent into a real codebase in the last twelve months, you've felt this: every agent, every developer, every machine — different setup. A README that says "install these extensions." A copilot-instructions.md somebody copy-pasted from another repo. MCP server configs in three…...

Honen harira. Github Copilot-en prezioak hodeietan daude momentu honetan eta lanean genituen lizentziak mugatu dituzte. Orain 30.000 token ditugu hilabetero erabiltzeko eta jadanik lankideen erdiak token horien %50-60 gastatu ditu, 4 egunetan.
Ikusiko dugu eta zelan doan hilabetea baina askok bigarren astetik aurrera gaizki pasatuko dute 😂

Berriz programatzen ikasi beharko dute... Edo baten bati jada entzun diodana, bere kabuz lizentzia batzuk erostea. Pikutara goaz.

Updated my tracking tool for the new PRU->credit billing shift. First impressions: 2 (!) Codex requests ate a whopping 5% of monthly budget. Oh well. At least I can now watch my account drain in style. #githubcopilot https://github.com/burninc0de/copilot-usage-tracker/tree/tui
#AI costs how much? #GitHubCopilot users react to new usage-based pricing system.
Some report burning through their whole monthly “AI credit” allotment in a single day.
AI allowance in each of #GitHub's subscription plans has three tiers: the $10 Pro plan gets you 1,500 credits; the $39 Pro+ plan contains 7,000; and the $100 Max subscription nets you 20,000 credits. It's worth noting it's exceedingly hard to estimate how many #tokens any given query will use.

So, is the metered billing just for GitHub Copilot, or will this be for Copilot in their other stuff too?

(I guess this would hit enterprises primarily, but maybe for consumers through subscriptions too?)

[Edit]

"It's complicated." I'd say intentionally so.

From what I'm reading, the actual cost is hidden across you org-chart, not visible to or predictable by users, teams or management, and some will only pop up on someone's IT budget weeks if not months from now (Azure).

Times of India | Microsoft launches GitHub Copilot desktop app to manage multiple AI agents

AI generated summary, Read the full article for complete information.

GitHub introduced a new desktop application for Copilot, unveiled at Microsoft Build 2026, that serves as a centralized control hub for multiple AI coding agents. The tool offers a “My Work” dashboard where developers can monitor and direct agents across different repositories, with each session running in an isolated Git worktree to avoid branch conflicts. New features include visual “Canvases” that display an agent’s plan, terminal output, and deployments in real time, allowing users to edit or redirect tasks directly, as well as secure sandbox environments—either local or cloud‑hosted—to test code safely. Additionally, the app provides “Agent Merge,” an automation that watches CI pipelines, handles reviewer requirements, resolves failing checks, and merges code once predefined organizational criteria are met. The application is currently in technical preview for Copilot premium users.
