TrainWatchvia ScotRail - Ayr Station Hotel Fire
Trains will not be able to serve Ayr for several weeks while South Ayrshire Council completes work to make the damaged hotel safe.
Network Rail also need to inspect the tracks, signals & overhead wires before the line can reopen.
Buses will continue to replace trains between Prestwick Town & Ayr and Girvan & Ayr.
Also 2 trains are stuck south of Ayr so Ayr to Girval has reduced service until further notice
