Benedicta o hierba de San Benito - Geum rivale. Vista en el jardín botánico Hoya de Pedraza en Sierra Nevada. La parte del nombre científico "rivale" significa que crece en corrientes de agua y, efectivamente, se utiliza como planta ornamental en zonas de humedales y estanques.
Se ha utilizado por sus propiedades, principalmente, astringentes.

Die Bach-Nelkenwurz ist eine mehrjährige Pflanze, die feuchte Standorte bevorzugt. Ihre glockenförmigen Blüten sind typisch für den Frühsommer. In Island ist sie eine der wenigen Nelkenwurz-Arten, die in der Wildnis vorkommen.

@Natteheks got this plant - its called Bach-Nelkenwurz in german and is also native here - from another #naturgarten person a few days ago. Mine is still very smallish, but it already has one flower bud :-) It lives in our marsh tub now. Love it! #geumrivale
