My white #gaura finally blooms! 😍 They remind me of Mediterranean summers, because they grow like weeds in the south of France. Luckily, it's sturdy enough to grace my north-facing front #garden as well. Last year I had #flowers until the frost came. Hopefully it's the same this year, although after a very hot and dry spring, the summer has been very chilly and wet compared to last year.

After a couple of setbacks (days of rain right after we planted it in our rock garden, then being heavily munched by a passing deer right after we potted & moved it to a sunnier spot), followed by a few weeks of hot, dry, sunny weather, our #gaura plant is looking good! (Had to keep it on our porch during our past few days of welcome rain & unwelcome wind!)
