Summary of reading and watching:
- I got distracted from my reread of #themurderbotdiaries by Murderathin fanfiction. Whoops. (This is because I have a mutual who got me into the fandom, and the people I have interacted with in the fandom are so sweet)
- I'm slowly continuing #buffythevampireslayer Wow, I wonder what the reaction to "Teacher's Pet" would be if it aired today.
- I finally got my hands on a copy of #frankenstein2025 I love love love the costuming, and I hope it wins the award.
- I saw the movie Mercy (2026, the one with Chris Pratt). I wasn't bored, and the topics it touches upon are great conversation starters, but I feel like it brushes aside the "conversation" to have a typical Hollywood thriller plotline.
- I'm probably going to drop Star Trek: Discovery after season 1
- Omniscient Reader Viewpoint and the new Wuthering Heights movie are still on the list! At this point, I'll know all the reasons people hate that movie before watching the actual movie, lol. I agree with D'Angelo Wallace's opinions on the costumes, and I'm honestly looking forward to what Charli XCX has composed.

Finally watched Guillermo del Toro's #Frankenstein2025

I'd knew it would be good, but did not realize so good.

To paraphrase Crimson Peak, it has monsters in it but it is *not* a monster movie.

Oscars for him, Isaac, *and* Elordi!

Now I just have to figure out which is the best art, this or Pan's Labyrinth.

Finally saw Del Toro's #Frankenstein2025. As so many people have said, outstanding and worth seeing in a theater. Confirmed my expectation there is no one alive today better suited to direct a #Frankenstein adaptation.
