Watched #WutheringHeights last night.

It’s not v sympathetic to the book at all so I understand a lot of the criticism but I still thought it was a beautiful film. And I balled at the end so that’s always a good sign a film has worked.

Récemment j’ai relu « Les Hauts de #hurlevent ». #wutheringheights J’avais adoré ado, je me suis demandé si vingt ans après j’allais trouver ça naze ou problématique (romantisation de la violence sous prétexte de passion, etc). Eh bien pas du tout. Je trouve que c’est, plus qu’un livre sur la passion, un livre sur la solitude, sur le rapport à l’autre, à l’étranger.
