A #shoefie from the cinema tonight. There was once a time on a photo sharing site whose name shall not pass my lips (or fingertips, as the case may be) when I regularly shared photos of my footwear along with a quick review of the movie I'd seen. It's been a while and I didn't have a photo for today yet and it's my birthday tomorrow so I thought 'Why the fuck not?'

Pretty much all of my cute shoes are #Fluevogs and these are no exception. They even have names... These are Rosamunds and they make me smile. 🤍🖤🤍

I noticed after I took the photo and left the theatre that there was something wrong. If you're ocd like me, you'll probably notice it straight away. I need to admit here that it's making me fucking nuts and I almost didn't post the photo because of it. But I'm working on myself...

I go through spurts where I care about my appearance. It’s usually in response to an insecurity, or a change in my life that leaves my outside and inside me mismatched. A smart woman I know suggested having a few superheroes in my closet (alas, not the Marvel type) to pull out that make me feel like a badass.
My work sometimes requires me to operate in places with a dress code. I bought these shoes to comply, but subtly poke at their staid code. Definitely a superhero. #Fluevogs #confidence
