some more five spot and baby blue eyes. they’re so closely related you can’t tell the difference between them before the flowers open.

What. A. Photo. #CharlieMingus #Quintet at the #FiveSpot (I think). Worth noting #JohnHandyIII in the middle between Mingus and Booker Ervin. #JHIII was absolutely superb on alto. Difficult to overstate how good he was. Few have heard of him. #Jazz
