I have to say, it's really damned satisfying watching a First Nations vampire slayer staking a whole bunch of white colonial vampires in Ep 2 of Firebite.
(And along with the UK comedy Count Abdullah, I think the new trend in vampire shows is colonialism from the PoV of the colonised).
