Sebastian WilkenHeute ist Tag der finnischen Natur. Verbracht habe ich ihn standesgemäß in der Natur. Es war diesig und ein bisschen frischer. Mit anderen Worten: Genau richtig! Sommer kann dann jetzt weg, ich bin bereit für meinen geliebten Herbst 🙂

I decided to view the weather as an opportunity for a change and went to the woods to photograph fly amanitas, probably the most stereotypical mushroom of them all – the shroomiest shroom, if you will. There were plenty of them around but unfortunately none of them were particularly photogenic. Most were covered by dirt and riddled with holes. I quite like this photo though.
I'm keeping an eye out for its white cousin: the European destroying angel. (What a name...)
