The conversations and correspondence with Markus Fierz play a very important part in the development and deepening of Pauli’s interest in the relationship between quantum physics, philosophy and depth psychology. Their letters are less personal and deal generally with more philosophical than psychological subjects. As time went by Pauli became increasingly irritated by the ‘Jungians’ lack of scientific training.
