PAJ89#ffii really unique skill leveling for such an early JRPG (use sword get better at sword, get hit more get more HP). Dungeons have loads of random empty rooms, filler to add time getting lost/encounters? Wouldn't enjoy without #pixelremaster boosters.
#batenkaitos the combat isn't for me but the style of the world is great (Mira is especially cool), seems a bit wasted on an otherwise middling game. Also would struggle without 2x game speed from remaster!
JLSigman@GrayGooGirl I love FF 2, for all it's warts. You are truly free to play each and every character the way you want. The older PS1 version was almost broken in how overpowered you can be, but I noticed they toned that down a bit for the Pixel Release version. Still, it's fun, the story is touching.
