Enough on probable extinctions. Let's talk real ones. Who here remembers the one that happened before the Triassic period? Terrifying stuff, surreal in its destruction and unprecedented in scale. That's what this album sounds like...until beauty emerges from deeper beneath. I've never heard anything like this before, compositional but atmospheric, heavy as imaginable but never aggressive. This has been my introduction to #BlutAusNord, and I'm excited for more.

@levaleucen I remember a few weeks after release, I was trespassing in a high school forest at 5 AM (looking for the most hidden route home since they were about to open) wondering what Shiki Eiki would look like with orange hair, and noticing how jazzy the melodies were. I could easily picture the melodies being used in Hotel Dusk.

@levaleucen Just saw your message on FB announcing the future release of the Qygen set. I'm not sure what's wrong with that site anymore...it still works the same for me, but apparently not new users. It's a shame to me because that's where the freeform community used to gather online. I remember first seeing Storm Coming announced on there, when I was in a parking lot eating a sandwich with thick-cut turkey and listening to Hotel Dusk music.

You three are my worst-kept secret. But you really shouldn't be looking at me like that. You're the only topic I have a filter about. You see how people talk about King Mikko.

No one hurt him? Yeah, I guess that is my only fear in the end. Yeah, I know I'm not in high school anymore, but I still wish I was. You constantly watch those memories guide everything I do, and you constantly pretend not to hate it.

I used to love browsing fansites in the early 2000s, and one of the things I spent the most time on was building my own, even if I had no way of publishing them.

These days, I'm sick of seeing one autobiography after another. There has to be something FUN about it, which also CONNECTS all of it.

Original images fit the first. A topic (like music) fits the latter. If I like having three of everything, that opens up possibilities.

Maybe once AC comes back here and I can form thoughts again...
