i'm hosting another dog walk on saturday, february 22nd in #raleighNC if anybody would like to attend. our last walk lasted 45-60 minutes and we practiced ignoring the other dogs.

#worldDogStar and her first muzzle training session! she has worn head halters in the past, so the sensation on her face wasn’t completely foreign to her. she was willingly sticking her face into the muzzle in under five minutes, and strapping it was a breeze!
it’s a wee bit long for her, but not bad considering this one isn’t custom.
#echoOfBrookside obsessively eats grass in the yard, so she’s learning to wear a #muzzle, too! muzzles can be useful for all kinds of unwanted behaviors, not just bite risks.
#muzzle training was essential for #lokiOfPineview so i can groom him and trim his nails without him fussing. this one has a built-in slow feeder that i supply with a spoonful of peanut butter! 🥜
#lokiOfPineview hates having his nails trimmed, grooming, and the vet. fingers crossed this muzzle + licky mat combo will help us accomplish these mandatory things!
