@Axomamma @pattykimura Reliable schedule is the best advice. Dogs crave predictability, it soothes their worries. *Part* of what the dog misses from its previous home is the comfort of knowing who will be there and what is in the environment. Try to be as clockwork as possible, including with outside time, so the dog can build new expectations.

Note that separation anxiety from mom is different from separation anxiety from you. Some of the replies address one but not the other. Let me know if you need more specific advice (I’m a trainer who specializes in anxiety). #DogTraining
