okay...dann mal wieder lts Kernel booten, damit die #fcknvidia Treiber sich dazu entscheiden zu funktionieren.

Today fun with #nvidia ...

I run #ubuntu 23.10.1 on pc with GTX 660 via rufus persistent live USB 3.0 pen drive. I had to install proprietary nvidia driver to fix freezing: https://gist.github.com/bitsurgeon/b0f4440984c9e60dcd8fe8bbc346c029#install-nvidia-driver-on-ubuntu-18043
But nvidia-settings & nvidia smi didn't work and I saw during startup: "NVRM: The NVIDIA probe routine was not called for 1 device" https://github.com/probonopd/system/issues/1, so I had to disable main #linux driver #nouveau via GRUB: modprobe.blacklist=nouveau after splash.
Finally, it works...
