Our latest #DIY project… red becomes green.
It took two coats of primer and two more of #FarrowAndBall green-blue No.84 modern emulsion to cover the original dark red paint.
Very pleased with the new look. Just a bit of glossing the woodwork to finish it off.
What’s sad is the price of paint has increased across the board due to various supply chain issues (and greedflation probably - yay!) so now a gallon of Sherwin Williams’ most premium paint is more expensive than a gallon of Farrow & Ball was in 2020, and ofc F&B is now about $140/gallon 💀
But what are you gonna do? *Not* paint your house? Leave the bare Sheetrock exposed for years? Live in squalour?!?
