Every time someone brings up "Fantasy Heartbreakers" there's always at least one person in the conversation confidently espousing from a deeply inaccurate sixth-hand understanding of the term. Is it really that hard to go back and read the original essay? It's still right there. #FantasyHeartbreaker #ttrpg #rpg

Some games move from edition to edition, some others just stand there.
Not necessarily a good thing
@benni @Terael cool. 1/2

Is it still a #FantasyHeartbreaker if you want to focus on something other than looting forgotten treasures and slaying dangerous creatures?

If you want "dungeons" to be less like enemy bases to invade or high-risk, high-reward deathtraps to brave, and more like Star Trek planets of the week?

If actually, you *like* safe, reliable spellcasting, and want it sufficiently analyzed?

If you want brains to be glorified instead of brawn (even brawn you need to be brainy for like attack spells)?

So I am about to start writing my fantasy heart breaker. What do people think I need to know beforehand. Other than don't do it #rpg #fantasyheartbreaker
