On the bad-news front, it seems like people who have a broken XPS 13 screen (of any kind) basically just replace the entire top assembly, rather than just the LCD or ribbon cable.... Which is pricier.

On the good-news front, apparently the 9380 assemblies are 100% compatible with the previous year's 9370 (that being the one I have), with the bonus feature that the newer one has the webcam in the correct spot, above the display. Rather than the ENT-friendly nostrilcam of the 9370. #failingupward
