Unhinged DJ setup:
#mixxx controlled by my DIY #faderController Doing some speed control fader rides to sync tracks.

Deck 1 and 2 into @noisio uMixa which has the kaoss pad in the aux/feedback chain.

Feels really nice to mix the tracks in hardware, the high gain of this small mixer sounds really good on the tracks. And the EQ is super useful. Tried to capture my first try and compressed it to hell so it’s not clogging the servers.

Might do an actual set with this lil rig. Tiny but mighty.

Tiny bit of progress on the #faderController a backplate to keep everything contained. Thinking of rubberizing the hex nuts to make it more resistant to slipping away.
Again my favorite material 2mm hard foam board.

Hey #mixxx community. Who of you is using a non-DJ-style #midiController an can recommend one? I have multiple people telling me to get a midifighter twister for all kind of wild applications, is anyone using that?

I am currently sporting this wild DIY #faderController I built for a VJ set, but I have to use a mouse for lots of things and rotary pots would be much nicer in most places. (And yes this is 3U #eurorack sized, but has never seen a skiff so far)
