Me cuesta tomármelo en serio ya que hay 1 candidato que se presenta para el voto de los "national juries", el que cuenta de verdad, y los demás no pintan nada, un poco como Kaleen y la pirotecnia de Georgia en la Grande Final, pero bueno... estoy aquí para ver si alguien menciona el #eurodrama de la bandera 🇪🇺 retirada por la EBU en Malmö.

@lari It would be nice of EU member states governments to properly fund an EU public broadcaster and put it under the control of the EU legislative (Parliament + Council because member states would freak out about losing control). This was a popular request from participants at the Conference for the future of 🇪🇺 and some long-abandoned promise in the European programme of German Greens. So as much as I love #eurodrama ,outrage means nothing without action. ARTE exists, why not expand it EU-wide?

@bossito Maybe I should start a side-grift for #Eurovision stans going through withdrawals, "cover" the EP vote like some of the ESC clickbaiters. 😄

The European elections might be low on glitter, fab outfits and booty hypnotic, but we have calls for boycotts (Art. 7, about as effective as Bambie), we have corruption, we have conspiracy theories, blood feuds and #eurodrama galore. And if they miss complaining about jury voting wait till they hear about the #EUCO (still got it right in 2019).

@jess I was only half-joking. #EBU hosts the #Eurovision debate for #EuropeanElections2024 on 23/05. One EU Commissioner already called them out for banning the #EU flag 🇪🇺 as "political" at last night's Grand Final, so I'm curious to see if any of the candidates bring it up. See? Lots of potential for #eurodrama though sadly the makeup will be low on sparkles. Plus if you want to complain about vote-rigging and jury voting, you're in for a treat!

@lorrden It was true AND it got better! Mr. Way of Life (thanks, Ireland...) logged in with a banger. So we're having a bit of a rally around the flag  moment, helped by the fact that it coincided with yet another massive rally against the Russian law in Tbilisi with lots of brave Georgians wrapped in the 🇪🇺 flag.
