MilesOh you're against the "ethno-nationalism" of Israel? Well then I'm sure you're also on the barricades protesting against the state of Japan, of South Korea, and of Thailand. I'm sure you are daily protesting against Han domination of the PRC.
You must have been out demonstrating against Germany, Sweden, Slovakia, and Italy with their national languages and policies that favor people with a connection to their lands.
The US is the least ethno-national, most multi-ethnic (arguably) nation in the world, and thank God for it. But literally almost nowhere else in the world is founded on the idea of multi-ethnic democracy built by immigration.
Scratch under the surface and most states of this world are ethno-nationally based and will long remain. There are better more liberal versions of the ethnonational state, and worse ones. #Israel should try to be a better one, but it has nothing to apologize for regarding the fact that it is one.
