I was annoyed that I couldn't find a simple shell script to query the #jargon file, so I created my own.
This is using the last version published by #esr on his site; I haven't tried to include anything more recent for formatting/parsing reasons.
The script is pretty big (1,443,874 bytes / 1.4 MiB), as it contains the entire jargon file, but I guess that's not such a big deal in today's day and age.
(I was tempted to use bzip3 and uuencode, which actually would save quite a bit of space, but I decided I didn't want the script's comprehensibility to suffer for it)
