Regular reminder that US users now have Mayhem Marketplace, an *ethical* alternative for Etsy and FB Marketplace, and it can even be used as a standalone website host! Mayhem is free to use for shoppers, and vendors only pay a miniscule monthly fee. They do NOT take a cut of artisan/vendor profits!

I've spent a lot of energy looking for ethical software & web services, but where I am really lacking is the most critical part: finding ethical *payment* solutions for my own biz. The vast majority of my clients use #PayPal or Venmo (both owned by the same arguably evil folks), or by Visa/MC processed by Squareup.
