Still getting that same error message from #etcher & the system overall runs slower than a garden slug.... but....after some shopping- for food mostly- I'll get back to try it again, this time a little more care in spotting that popup window for possibly needed permissions.

*before the reset, the pop-up window didn't even show up, so I think a little progress has been made just not much.
