Got another #Thinkpad from my local #erecycler. An L380 Yoga, with a nice touch screen.

Decided, since it's touchy, I'd try #GNOME & #Wayland out. I've used #linuxdesktops for decades, but have generally avoided GNOME because of its rigidity. GNOME is good for touchscreens tho. Using Wayland has meant no:
- Barrier
- oneko
- guake (until i found https://github.com/Guake/guake/issues/1640)
- forwarding displays

Verdict? GNOME is pretty, extension are hit and miss. Wayland's not there yet. #KDE+#X11 still wins. 🤷
