Una delle immagini più commoventi che restano dell’addio a Elisabetta II è quella dei suoi due cani di razza Corgi con l’aria abbacchiata, mentre stavano fuori dal castello di Windsor che si preparava a salutare alla regina. Muick e Sandy da quel momento erano stati affidati al figlio prediletto, l’ex principe Andrea e alla ex moglie, Sarah Ferguson, che era stata molto vicina alla sovrana, soprattutto negli ultimi anni. Solo oggi, però, è emerso il tentativo della “rossa” di farci dei soldi, clonandoli. I due esemplari rimasti anche a lei, ameno finché ha vissuto al Royal Lodge con l’ex marito Andrea, erano gli ultimi di una lunga stirpe di Corgi che la defunta sovrana ha amato profondamente.
Il bisogno continuo e disperato, di soldi da parte della ex duchessa di York è stato uno dei tratti emersi con più chiarezza dai suoi rapporti continui con Jeffrey Epstein, l’amico “supremo” al quale avanzava continue richieste di denaro e di lavoro, arrivando a chiedergli di sposarla. Nessuno però avrebbe potuto immagine che in serbo, Sarah avesse avuto anche un piano per speculare sui due cani orfani della regina Elisabetta II.
Secondo quanto rivelato dal Daily Mail, le trattative per “tornare in tv e fare un pò di soldi” erano piuttosto avanzate ed il progetto consisteva nel portare Muick e Sandy in uno show televisivo presentandoli come i cani della regina. Ma questo sarebbe stato solo il primo passo perchè, poi, si sarebbe spinta oltre, immaginando di allevarne la razza e, per essere sicura di ricavare il massimo dalle loro origini blasonate, clonarli.
“C’erano state delle trattative condotte via zoom e tante e-mail con i responsabili di questa tv”, avrebbe spiegato una fonte anonima sentita dal tabloid che ha aggiunto anche che: “Ad un certo punto, Sarah sembrava disposta a tutto purché venisse pagata”. Era arrivata a coinvolgere quello che definiva il suo team e l’obiettivo finale era quello di viaggiare per poter avvicinare ricchi aristocratici che magari volevano adottare un corgi.

But this would have been only the first step as, then, she would have gone further, imagining of raising their breed and, to be sure of getting the most from their illustrious origins, cloning them.
“There had been negotiations conducted via Zoom and many emails with the people in charge of this TV channel,” a source anonymously heard by the tabloid explained, who added that: “At some point, Sarah seemed willing to do anything as long as she was paid.” She had even involved what she called her team, and the final objective was to travel in order to approach wealthy aristocrats who perhaps wanted to adopt a corgi.
