Can anyone (in UK) suggest any links about how to resist being forced to use eConsult to access GP services? I want not to consent to sharing of any personal/medical data with commercial third parties or accept their T&Cs.

Search engines only return endless links to eConsult Ltd promotional stuff. Surely there must be some grass roots push-back somewhere.

#eConsult #NHS

@CppGuy @joelanman Yes, this! I have #eConsult too. I've just emailed a formal complaint to my #nhs #gp about it. It's a joke and I'm very concerned that it will prevent people accessing healthcare.

My #nhs GP uses an #eConsult system for getting in touch. It's absolutely infuriating - screens and screens of scrolling questions with crap presets that don't fit my needs, forcing me to choose a wrong category just to progress.

I'm cross and grumpy and slightly panicked by it, but I am very tech literate. This much more serious for others esp older generations - they will struggle to contact their GP and give up.

I'm dreading them "improving" it by adding #ai next...

While no one was looking the government has switched off the #NHS and replaced it with #econsult, which is a system whereby you type your condition into a website and it goes to /dev/null. We need to do something about this urgently. #ukpolitics
