I've been puzzled why ebay (UK) prices have gone up recently, with strange values, eg something Β£3.00 is now Β£3.87.
Some sales now have a 'buyers protection fee' that is automatically added to the sellers quoted price.
The fee is 4% PLUS 75p, so smaller value sales will get a big jump in price for the buyer.
I'm sure there's more to this, but it's likely to lead to many people not selling, and ebay becomes even more of an Aliexpress/Temu/Shien clone.
