Yes there has been a reaction from the civil society NGOs, among them the European Transport Safety Council #ETSC, #FEVR - European Federation of #Road #TrafficVictims, #CleanCitiesCampaign,
International Federation of #Pedestrians and #ECF - European #Cyclists’ Federation.

EU response is unclear so far.

(It is not unlikely that you are a member of some national NGO which is in turn a member of one of those, btw)

Il successo del leasing delle bici assistite in Germania

In #Germania quasi 2 milioni di #ebike sono state acquistate con uno schema vantaggioso e apprezzato dai lavoratori dipendenti, attraverso le aziende che li impiegano.

Lo schema ha avuto un impatto visibile, le bici sono molto usate per gli spostamenti quotidiani, anche grazie ad infrastruttura che, pur non essendo al livello di quella dei Paesi Bassi, è, di solito presente e di qualità discreta.

#ECF propone all'UE di inserire uno schema simile nelle strategie europee, visti i vantaggi economici, di salute e la coerenza la dichiarazione europea sulla #ciclabilità adottata l'anno scorso

In Italia le aziende hanno programmi solo per #auto, grazie agli incentivi fiscali. Si tratta di uno schema che droga il mercato delle auto, e, secondo #Legambiente, di uno dei principali sussidi ambientalmente dannosi, denaro pubblico che contribuisce a peggiorare la #crisiClimatica. Penso che uno schema simile a quello tedesco per le bici potrebbe avere successo anche qui.

Se il vostro datore di lavoro vi proponesse un leasing per una e-bike su 3 anni col 20% di sconto, direttamente in busta paga, ci fareste un pensiero?

Breaking: @euractiv_politics leaked the draft #ECF Competitiveness Fund Regulation proposal for @vonderleyen's next #EUBudget. We'll have to analyse, but:
- How much is in for the green transformation?
- Why is there no earmarking to #RestoreNature or #LIFE?
- What about central management?
