I was sick for 4-5 days starting 2 weeks ago and let me tell you, there is no less opportune time to get sick during a semester than during the first few weeks. I have been swimming upstream through a fire hose of boot camps, lessons, videos, assignments, assessments, etc.

This weekend will probably suck but I should be able to catch up. Luckily (Unfortunately?) it coincides with the end of #Drynuary & the beginning of #Februmary.

#Drynuary is rough this year given all the shit going on the world… I’m looking forward #Februmary.

With the way 2025 is looking, I will likely be observing these as well: #Marjito, #Aperol, #Chardommay, #JuneNJuice, #Julyp, #Augustini, #Siptember, #Octobrew, #Novembeer, and #Decembourbon.

Sundown on the first of February, and so another #Drynuary comes to an end.*

I like the feeling of having had a few drinks of an evening. But I also like the feeling of having had no drink at all for a good many evenings. I’ll probably go on abstaining for a bit — let us call it, perhaps, Febrewlessary — though less rigorously. Because 6 Nations rugby gan pionta leanna dhuibh na ga happen, innit.

I survived my first test, went to the bar after work, surrounded by friends drinking beer and I only touched on non alcoholic beer (piss). #drynuary
Friday, first challenge for my first #drynuary
Will I stay away from alcohol until the end of the month?

This is my first #drynuary since the plague began... sad business

In happier news, chaos among the Republicans. Can anyone explain to me please--if Trump was backing McCarthy and now these MAGAs aren't--what is going on even???
