After a somewhat promising first part, the season finale for #DrWho, #EmpireOfDeath was another monumental letdown. Zero plot, incredibly unsatisfying resolution, rubbish use of a classic baddy, and poorly handled adoption scenario, mostly disregarding Rubyโ€™s true mother: the one that raised her.

#73Yards and #DotAndBubble aside (and some elements of #DevilsChord), this was a really weak season. Bad enough that Iโ€™m not eagerly looking forwards to more #DoctorWho. Which is really quite sad.

I think #dotandbubble and #rogue should have been swapped in the order this season of #doctorwho

Two doctor-lite episodes in a row (following from #73yards) feels...unsatisfying.

I wonder if Lindy saying "you will obey me to the Dot" was additional foreshadowing that she would be duplicitous and betray Ricky September given the association with #theMaster and that phrase.

I am hoping you are a #Whovian And that you are enjoying #NcutiGatwa 's Doctor.

What do you think of #DotAndBubble & #Rogue ?

(I loved them)

@TheDarcBird I feel the plot for #TheDevilsChord was super thin, but I teally enjoyed #JinkxMonsoon as the baddy. Neatly unhinged. #73Yards and #DotAndBubble were great, but felt a big drop in #Rogue. The Rogue character felt really flat and random, plot again didnโ€™t really make sense, and generally Iโ€™m not big on the Doctor getting romantically entangled. At least without good buildup! Takes away from the โ€˜othernessโ€™. I know many seemed to like it though.
