Séamus McGuireI’m sad to see this. Palmer’s truly was one of the best bars in Minneapolis, but they had a long run.
My local bar is called Como Tap. I spent some time a while ago getting some history. Of the place. It was first Seaborn and Hagey’s Tavern in 1934.
Today I found the oldest photo I’ve seen. This is from, 1966. Spprtsmens Inn is between Kloss’s Grocery and the Buffington Barber Shop. Today, Como Tap occupies all three spaces.
