Capped off 2025 live music at The Disco Biscuits last night at Royale in #Boston, "City of Chompers." S1 was confident Biscuits with Mirrors>Abraxas being the highlight. S2 was a bit songy and you feel that a little extra with this band. Still always a good time #discobiscuits

They are upping their rhythm section game too. Huge fan of Marlon on the drums, he sounds more dynamic and real back there than his predecessors, his swing, groove and power are unique. His approach to their songs is raw and it's refreshing how much freedom he is being given right off the bat. These guys are on track to play something like 88 shows this year, it's wild

Tractorbeam at Elsewhere in Brooklyn last night. So much fun, super crisp sound, a seamless two hour set of house music. I've only seen the Disco Biscuits once so my attendance bias is heavy. I am a sucker for the Moog bass sound from Marc Brownstein's keyboard.

There weren't a lot of direct Biscuits songs played, which leaves so much on the table for the next three days. A lot of Marlon FTPs are coming, should be exciting
