Denmark leans left.

With 88 percent of the votes counted, votes are now coming in from the big cities, and it looks increasingly difficult for the right wing parties.

The far right nationalists of DF have been victorious, taking 11 new seats in parliament. But it may be in vain as the right wing block as a whole is now behind the left with just 77 seats to 84.

Clearly, the left wing parties have reason for optimism, but it will be another hour or two before a clear winner is announced.
