What is not mentioned is, that highly sensitive data, such as location data and biometric data is being collected from citizens, that all such data must be made available to authorities across Europe, and that the Commission can add new categories of data to be collected at any time.
This could be used as a basis for monitoring citizens in the future, vague phrasing such as “pseudonymization where technically possible [...]” is one of the warning signs, that there is no rush to implement data anonymization measurements.
What did the NGOs with private and gdpr focus have to say on that? Will you listen to experts in this field or neglect their opinion like you did in the past just to get what you want?
