David CroyleYesterday at the Sam Francisco Dickens Fair I met up with an old high school buddy that I hadn't seen in person for like 30 years. It was great to catch up. He now owns and runs the fine haberdashery with his lovely wife, and he always looks quite dapper! I also discovered that he keeps some fine scotch tucked away behind the counter as well. :)

The worlds of Charles Dickens and Lewis Carroll will meet as the Great Dickens Christmas Fair returns to the Cow Palace near San Francisco. The event, similar to a Renaissance fair, transforms the venue’s exhibition halls into a re-creation of Victorian-era London.
