@ambiguous_yelp @sashin I half-jokingly came up with Charles' Law because it's one of the Gas Laws and the OP used the metaphor of a soda bottle. But yes, while contradictions are central to #DialecticalMaterialism, it's not quite so deterministic to predict an equal and opposite reaction.
It's hard to say what the opposite reaction to say Trump's involvement with Epstein would even be, isn't it? But we can say that the contradiction between the Epstein clique and the MAGA folks who thought everyone *else* but the Dear Leader was a danger to Our Children™ will be one thing that helps undo the movement unless Trump manages to whip up a major war frenzy. Whether what follows will be better or worse remains to be seen.
