Everyday I feel less attached to #aromantic, both as a label and as a community.

Not because I feel I'm actually alloromantic, I'm not. 95% of the time I don't feel any romantic or romantic-ish attraction. It's because of the exclusionary and elitist views many aros, particularly those who are alloplatonic and romance repulsed suptillic aroaces, hold.

Many of them believe that only them truly belong in aromantic spaces and are hostile to
#greyromantics, #demiromantics and #RomoAros.

It's saddening to see the thrash the aro community is becoming as someone who's identified as aro since the age of fifteen.

Are you or do you know a #demiromantic and/or #demisexual trying to make sense of a non-demi world?

I’d like to talk to you as research for something I’m writing. Anonymous is fine.

Please DM or comment.

Thank you!
