I admin a local singles group on Facebook and these are some of their stories DUN DUN
Today I got a message from a man to tell me [woman in group] is a scammer.
I asked what happened so that he had decided that. And he responded that he sent her $100 for her to visit him in Dubbo to cover the petrol of driving there.
Something seemed off, not in the least because the woman he was complaining about had been in the group for months with nobody else making a complaint about her. So I asked him to send me screenshots of that conversation.
He said he didn't know how, but then sent me a picture of a notification that said "you have been paid $100 I to your account ending [****]". I explained that meant HE had been paid $100, and he said it was a screenshot shed sent him.
I messaged her and asked "can you please tell me about your chat with [man]?", and she responded saying they'd chatted on the phone the previous day. I asked her why he'd be complaining about sending her money, and she said that he bought some pictures off her.
Now.. here's where my patience ended:
I went back to him and asked him about buying pictures, and he said he was going to go to Dubbo police and he was sure they'd want to talk with me.
I don't like being threatened, and I don't intimidate easily.
I banned them both, and told him to be sure to spell my name properly on the police report.. and that the cops won't care, because he's just a silly man who should know better than sending money to a complete stranger..he's just feeling sore about making a silly decision and having to deal with the consequences of it.
[I'm not anti-SW. I was a sex worker for a long time. Facebook is anti-SW and I don't want the group shut down]
