@doggle @actuallyautistic I had decided that I would be alone for the rest of my life, then I met my husband on an IT course.

For me, dating another Autistic is really the only way forward. Neither of us knew at the time that we were, but we were exceptionally accommodating to each other, and I feel that an allistic would not have been?

Eg. He asked me out, we then had 6 months of texting before working up to an in-person date; we both needed time! 💗

Wow, so I’m in an #autistic #datinggroup on #Facebook. In one of the group chats, someone used a #functioninglabel and I told them to please not use them, and someone else told me to explain why they shouldn’t be used. I posted a link to this article explaining why they shouldn’t be used, and someone else told me that it’s a “#snowflakish” article.
