I filed an objection to the purchase of the German AI company, Hornet Security, by a US / Israeli Cyber multinational.

Hornet specialises in using AI to find security vulnerabilities in the Microsoft Office suite. My objection was ignored. Sale was greenlit.

I was surprised then to hear that the EU had called for a replacement for Microsoft Office due to security concerns.
