So, to delete the PayPal account I've never used, I have to upload photo ID. WTF dark pattern bullshit is this?
This is semi-related to my recent interest in passkeys; PayPal apparently supports them, which reminded me I'd never deleted my PayPal account. I've also heard PayPal does passkeys in an extremely stupid and broken manner, so be careful.

Kann mir keiner erzählen, dass die Seiten ausschließlich nur funktionieren, wenn man sein Surfverhalten 200+ Dritten bekannt macht. Und diejenigen, die die Bearbeitung der Daten zulassen, machen ihren Usern dank #darkui das Lesevergnügen zur Qual.

Luka Prin/ce Lucijafolks on fb (and possibly elsewhere) are desperately using some other portions of UTF-8 charset to achieve bold and italic formating of text. today I realized this makes this text nonsearchable. if you copy and paste something like 𝗡𝗲𝗷𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗵 (not sure how this renders on your screen, but it should say 'Nejc Prah' in bold letters) you will not search for/find anything for Nejc Prah: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=𝗡𝗲𝗷𝗰+𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗵
