@Canageek Not directly, but Dark Conspiracy (1991) has Slithers as beasties, and it's very much a "find monsters and unload a wall of guns into them" game. I used Slithers anytime players went into desert wastelands.

100. #DarkConspiracy(#GDW). My second Virtual Grogmeet was this old chestnut which we played with Liminal rules (because they're better). We went looking for Bigfoot in Arizona and it was all about the friends we made along the way, which worked very well. We've had enough dark conspiracies this week.
For me, finally, RPG A DAY 2024 is over, and I get to end it by talking about one of my favorite games of all time, a true lost classic, something the likes of which we haven't really seen since. I do, in fact, miss it terribly. But I get to share it with you today.

62) And GDW continued to release games using its new inhouse system. "Dark Conspiracy" was a homage to Call of Cthulhu but set in a more modern era. It was fantastic and had huge potential, but unfortunately didn't last long.
