Hello, readers and followers.

Last week, feeling rather bored, I decided to write a small script to assist in identifying centralised servers within the fediverse.

This is particularly useful as the fediverse is intended to be free, open, and decentralised, in order to safeguard democracy, free speech, and, most importantly, to protect democracy and human freedom, which are fundamental human rights and online privacy.

At this stage, the script identifies centralised and privacy-invasive servers operating on the #MITM networks of AWS, CloudFlare, and Azure (Microsoft). By now, we should all be aware that these networks are detrimental to privacy, as they do everything possible to identify you for the purpose of collecting your Personally Identifiable Information (PII), fingerprinting your browsers, and censoring the internet for those who refuse to be part of the walled garden.

The results from running the collection of previously connected servers to my fediverse instance are as in the file attached

Ok it is a bunch of people who doesn't like all the PII data collection + decrypted HTTPS for PII data collection that is going on over at CloudFlare.

The karma is now... they hosts their own domain/site at CloudFlare!!!

Most of #crimeflare's high profile members have been banned from the #riseup-controlled 0xacab.org GitLab instance. The organization and it's repositories remain online, and 6 of their lower profile members have not been banned. Their remaining members can still edit their repositories.
Crimeflare states their appeals have been ignored. The reason for these bans remains unknown.
Crimeflare alleges this to be a targeted attack from CloudFlare or it's supporters, but this allegation can not be independently verified.
In any case, this is not the first time Crimeflare has been banned from a git hosting service.
As of currently, the controversial organization's future remains in doubt.

so whilst i was just revising the blocklist, i saw matrix.rocks blocked this instance, billys.mom, for "CF" - that meaning, cloudflare

there's this whole thing of "cloudflare isn't privacy friendly!!" which is complete and utter bollocks, and as a privacy advocate i'm going to give my opinion (that no one asked for) on why

Their DNS server can still be accessed by DNS-over-HTTPS or DNSCrypt

1. They are 100% MITM
2. They decrypt all connections, any SSL connections are fake simulations of a secure line to the domain you try to conenct to
