We’re blessed that we live near the waters and enjoy an abundance of fresh seafood, but if the weather won’t permit us to catch some bounty of the sea, we end up using canned seafood, including crabs. #cannedcrabs #crablovers #cannedcrabrecipes #succulentseafoodfeast

According to a new theory, animals keep evolving into crabs because crabs are the optimal shape for a crustacean. This is because crabs have flat, compact, sturdy body that allows them to move efficiently, hide from predators, and access diverse habitats. The theory also explains why crab evolution has happened at least five times independently in different crustacean groups.
