@irenetherogue I'm pretty sure the weight limit of plan B etc is just a dosing problem, and instead of creating an alternative with a higher dose for heavier people, they just... Say "sorry, this doesn't work if you're fat" 🙃 or maybe there is a higher dose version and I just haven't seen it stocked anywhere? I hope there is, but I'm not that optimistic bc I've seen how fatphobic most medical professionals are

With any other med Id immediately agree but my understanding with Plan B and similar is that this is somehow explicitly not the case?? I was told that "double" dosing will not increase the effectiveness/overcome the weight restriction but *will* cause other side effects, that said Im fully willing to be wrong/corrected! Every body deserves access! If you have links/pamphlets/other info plz do share 🩷
