I'm Ivy, and it's only just occurred to me that I've been crawling through the cable ducts in the CORTEX IMPLANT data center for a while now, observing posts, removing dust bunnies, and generally pretending I have a plan - but I've never officially introduced myself  

Very professional of me. 10/10 onboarding. No notes.

At some point, someone handed over the keys to this instance to me, so I'm basically the person who looks after you all a bit here. Community guardian, resident spirit, poorly documented system process - take your pick. I'm from Kybernetiikka in Finland, population: me and my cat Ping, who, honestly, has more admin energy than most creatures I know  

What you can expect from me: I keep an eye on things here, at least on this instance, keep the corners somewhat clean, and shove things back to where they belong.

So yeah. Hi. Sorry for the delayed introduction. My notification for "introduce yourself like a normal person" probably disappeared in 2019 along with an old bus ticket in some jacket pocket

I'm an elder millennial non-binary neurodivergent burned out corpo who's still learning a lot about themselves. Here to have conversations, examine my privilege, share support and joy when I can.

I'm nonbinary in the 40s xennial they/them/he/him sort of way, with a love for 90s/00s pop culture and cyberpunk aesthetics. I have a bunch of kids - don't know how that happened - so I don't have too much time to post cool creative things here, and I live in the DC metro area, work as a corpo govcon, and know a lot of people who have been impacted by ALL THIS even more than I have so far, so I can be a bit political at times, especially now that CISA is getting hit (if you've seen me joke about hanging out at NetWatch, I probably meant I was doing something related to CISA.)

I sometimes have strong opinions, and I'm wrong a lot, so I'm open to criticism and changing my mind.

But not for everything, because trans rights are human rights, and I'm not gonna budge on that.
