Today’s post is about prediction markets. Kalshi is being sued by users upset that they can’t collect for predicting political assassinations and by states that think they can regulate gambling.

An Israeli Reporter was threatened by Polymarket users for reporting, accurately it seems, that an Iranian missile evaded Israeli defenses and exploded just outside of Beit Shemesh. The users lost their bets (sorry, "predictions") as a result.
